Who would have thought a decent pair of slippers would be so hard to find. I tried to get a replacement from the same large department store chain I got my last ones from (they now go by initials rather than their full name) but found sizing was no different to before. I am normally a 7 to 7.5 and depending on brand have to often get either a 7 or 8. The department store chain's size 7s were too small, and bizarrely the size 8s were far too big. I really cannot understand such deviance from previous sizing. So, I thought I'd try these hush puppies out. The size 7 was tiny. The size 8 is about the right length, but has a narrow toe box, and is too wide in the middle. The arch support is extremely poor. You can feel the transition from the heel to the arch of the foot. The foam is okay, but not particularly soft. Having tried so many different sizes and brands I'm just going to keep these. This is my first ever hush puppies purchase and I'm not too impressed. I can't fault the quality of the manufacturing though. I just wish the shape/structure was better aligned to an average foot.

I was given these slippers as a Christmas present.
I didn’t need them at the time and started to wear them at the beginning of June.
Less than two weeks later the upper came away from the sole on one of the slippers.
I contacted House of Slippers and after they refused to help me they eventually offered me £10 store credit against any further purchase.
I would never buy anything from them ever again so the offer was refused.
The customer service absolutely stinks, be warned that if you have a problem you will regret buying from House of Slippers. I’ve put it down to experience and have taken my custom elsewhere.

The slippers are super comfortable, fit exactly as expected and great value for money. Also feel pretty sturdy, which is great considering my last slippers completely disintegrated within 12 months (those slippers weren’t purchased from House of Slippers).
