Barbour

Founded over 120 years ago in South Shields, Barbour is a family-run business that has become a household name around the world. Best known for its handmade, classic wax jackets, it is a heritage and lifestyle clothing brand with a reputation for quality, luxury, and comfort. Barbour received its first Royal warrant from the Duke of Edinburgh in 1974, and later received warrants from the Queen (1984) and the Prince of Wales (1987).

Barbour has taken numerous steps outside of its countrywear roots, branching out to fragrances, footwear, and a full lifestyle wardrobe. It has also undertaken collaborations with designers such as Steve McQueen, and brands such as Triumph and White Mountaineering. Barbour prides itself on representing the values of the British Countryside, with clothing that balances beauty and function with wit, grit and glamour.

Sophistication meets comfort in the autumn winter range here at House of Slippers. Every slipper is presented with the utmost luxury so you feel like a Lord or Lady whilst walking around your house. Barbour is not just a brand, it’s a lifestyle.
